Five years earlier Russ chose Orange County Pool Builders when he needed a swimming pool remodel and landscaping upgraded. Now Russ and Carolyn are living in a different home in which the back yard had been neglected after years of use. The concrete pool deck and patio showed intense cracking and lifting due to improper drainage and tree root damage. The swimming pool plaster was sprawling, discolored and very rough to the touch.

So Russ gets off his machine and comes up to me and we start catching up etc. He invites me to come by the next day to see what I think can be done to improve the look in their back yard. I have a gift for design and have been trained and certified with “Pool Studio” software that gives my clients an opportunity to see their backyard come to life as I create a new innovative concept and present it to them in 3D panoramic video. Russ knows I have over 35 years of experience in designing, building and remodeling swimming pools in the Orange County area, so he has confidence in my opinion and ability to add value to his home.

He commissioned me to develop a conceptual plan for him. I presented my new ideas in a comprehensive colorful panoramic design including landscape, water features, lighting, patio cover structures, and even included my ideas on patio furniture and BBQ centers. This was all done in 1/8” scale for ease of measuring to layout the work in the backyard. The design process with my clients goes through a number of revisions until together we reach the perfect plan for each family.

The completed workmanship at Russ and Carolyn’s home is spectacular!
